Human Resource Generalist (Part-time)
Job Purpose and reporting structure: Within the HR Generalist role, you will need to perform HR activities in functions such as recruitment, pre-screening, initial interviewing, on boarding and employee benefits. In addition, you will be responsible for providing assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:
- Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications
- Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources
- Administer and explain benefits to employees
- Maintain employee files and records and assure completeness of files
- Serve as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers
- Design and conduct new employee orientations
- Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation

Education/Experience: Four-year degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 2 years experience in HR processes and practices.
