If any marketing/campaign variables are unclear or unknown, we can perform market research in order to validate assumptions about elements such as brand awareness, perceived value, target market/target audience demographics, messaging, business issues, price point analysis, buying behavior, product development, competitive landscape and more. We have the capability to conduct primary research using web, phone, mail, fax, and focus groups, as well as secondary research such as web research, library work, data analysis, and compilation/analysis of existing research.

Market Management & Database Scoring

We help our customers develop effective target market segmentation strategies to prioritize frequency & type of communications per segment. We help our customers build a methodology to score accounts within their target market based on attractiveness of each account and our customers’ ability to capture that revenue. The dimensions that are used to score each account are unique to each customer, and are based on sales history and effectiveness, sweet spot analysis, and other database-driven elements.

Database Management

On behalf of our clients, Frantz Group manages data from our corporate headquarters in Wisconsin. Using data on-site within our internal marketing systems, we can quickly provide intelligence and reports to customers as well as deploy online marketing campaigns and monitor their performance. FG has the ability to load and manage to a variety of sources of data without burdening a customers’ sales environment with extra data. As campaigns are executed, all pertinent actions of FG professionals are captured in our tracking setup, allowing us to compare performance data to historical programs and provide output in various formats to fit our customers’ needs. This includes tracking results across calling campaigns, direct mail, integrated email results and opt-out tracking, video, and landing page responders. Actionable data can be provided to a customer sales or CRM environment in a variety of formats, at just the right time in the sales process.

Database Assessment and Score-carding

Database “score-carding” is a proprietary process we use to measure the completeness of a database for ongoing improvement. This includes tracking completeness of every field in your database, so that progress and quality can be improved and understood over time.

Data Augmentation, Standardization and De-duplication

Data augmentation: Frantz Group helps our customers append any missing address, phone, and demographic information (vertical, revenue, employee, etc.) to their existing marketing data. We also provide them with insight into how much of their defined target market is represented within their existing database so that they can make an informed decision about whether to purchase additional enterprise and contact data - to ensure they understand their complete market situation.

Standardization: We help our customers standardize their marketing data to aid in de-duplication and matching efforts. This includes punctuation cleansing of all major data fields, standardization of address, city, state, zip, country, and phone fields, elimination of "trash" field values and record content, and management of proper formatting of address and name field content.

De-duplication: Most databases are the result of merging data from multiple sources, so duplicate records are simply unavoidable. These duplicate records create waste at many levels across an enterprise. They waste valuable sales and marketing efforts. They also undermine one of the basic premises of CRM - a single view of the customer. Leveraging our proprietary database management tools, we eliminate duplicate records - merging contacts onto their respective enterprise records, and eliminating/merging redundant entries.

List acquisition

Finding an effective list is not as easy as it sounds. There are obvious considerations like what size companies to target, which industries, which geography, etc., and less obvious considerations, like how well a list is performing, or whether it might be ‘fatigued.’ Then, you’ll need to consider whether or not the list you’re thinking about buying can support all marketing tactics you’re planning, and be sure that all special needs are considered, such as specialized hardware or software on the client side. Leveraging our years of experience and extensive knowledge of available list sources, Frantz Group provides our clients with the most appropriate third party data lists for their unique needs, and because of the volume we purchase, we can probably save them money. Also notable: there are other marketing options that might be more attractive than a simple list purchase, for example, a CPL program where clients don’t buy a list but rather pay for responders to their offers. FG wants our clients to net the greatest possible ROI for their marketing dollars and to fit their unique needs.

Data Scrub Calling

Sometimes our customers have requirements for specific or specialized data that simply is not commercially available for purchase or rental. Through a combination of phone and web research, we gather/validate specific enterprise, contact, and other data points (such as technology infrastructure details) to support their marketing programs. Given that data decays at a rate of one percent per week, data scrub calling is the most accurate source of marketing data.
